Time With... Jono Fleming
Back in March, during isolation, I started a series on my Instagram account that uncovered how creatives all over the world were dealing with the unfolding pandemic situation. You can view all of the contributions via #timewithjb
Next up in the series is stylist and designer Jono Fleming. This multi-hyphenate creative is known in the Australian interiors world for his on-point styling and his love of a good chat. Jono is the co-host of the House of Style podcast, he is a former magazine style editor, and during the lockdown, not one to sit still, he developed his first foray into home product design. Palette by Jono Fleming features a rotating range of framed artworks created by guest feature artists. Jono will be releasing the next Palette series super soon!
Thanks for sharing your iso-world with me JF.
No surprises here, I spent all of last year saving up for artworks and creating my dream gallery wall. Little did I know that this is where I’ll be spending the most time, but it makes me so happy to curl up on my couch, surrounded by these pieces from people I love and admire in the industry. It’s my happy cosy place.
My daily helper
I’ve found lighting candles is the thing that’s getting me through working from home. I have a few different ones, a few different scents to change it up every day. It helps change my mood and when the candle is burning, I’m in work mode.
I’m a sometimes interior designer, stylist, cook, podcast host, whatever I can have a crack at. I love design, I love the design industry and getting to be a part of it in any way makes me get out of bed every single day. To be lucky enough to know so many amazing creatives and be surrounded by inspiring people makes me happy to be a part of this community and when this all blows over… I can’t wait to see what they’ve all been up to whilst being locked at home!
